Union Square is, historically, the epicenter of Manhattan’s elite roster of businesses and residences. Located steps away from the famous park where President Washington held his hand in defiance against the British Army; to Lincoln’s reading of the Emancipation Proclamation.
The W Union Square, commands the presence of its reinvigorated Beaux Arts style limestone façade. The main entry evokes prestige via it’s land-marked grand mahogany and blackened steel staircase, rising to the second level ballroom, crowned with an elliptical slump-glass and cast bronze chandelier jewel. The formal “living room”, adorned with cascading topiary walls, curvaceous walnut and anigre’ feature walls, inlay mother of pearl, silver leaf ceilings and velveteen suede seating swirls a new gilded age of opulence and indulgence.
