Tucked tightly amongst the limestone cliff side, this quaint lakehouse hideaway is a place full of family, friends, memories and fun.
Once a small bungalow that housed the bare essentials of a lake house, has now matured to a tranquil, resort-style family retreat.
Designed with all updated sustainable systems; building integrated solar panels, 10k gallon rain water reclaim cisterns, wind turbine generation, tankless water heaters and a multitude of other items creates a virtual off-the-grid resort.
The exterior envelope is comprised of wind and thermal insulated glazing, ipe decking. While a saline pool, hot tub, exterior kitchen/bar lounge, fireplace and wrap around sun terrace is raised over storage and rainwater reclaim tanks. All interiors are updated with Energy Star appliances, custom furniture, fixtures and LED lighting.
One of the most effective design features is the lake tram, consisting of a cable driven trolley to ferry to and from the variable lake levels, creating an easy commute over the strenuous terrain and cliff side.
