Careful overall site selection entailed the existing native tree canopy shade, providing enhance thermal protection, decreased energy consumptions costs and undisrupted protected lake view vistas.
Repurposed rough-hewn reclaimed timber trusses heighten the retractable window walls, open-freeform and covered alcove exterior living room. Local split faced Lueders limestone is quarried near the site.
Smart sensing thermal technology efficiently activates multiple HVAC mini-split systems and heats the residence via radiant hydronic floor heating. Water reclaiming systems, tankless water heaters, Energy Star appliances and solar roof panels are but a few integrated energy-saving solutions.
All interior and exterior design elements are appointed with a contemporary modern palette, enhancing the serene and tranquil location.
